Summary: Modules adding depends when they arent there
Description:
Ok this is kind of had to describe but I will try anyway. With theedge
installed I get the following dependancies installed when they arent in
the DEPENDS file. For example I was updating the galeon module this
morning and I removed some depends namely the depends gnome-libs line and
I was left with this:
nhudson at marieco ~ $ lvu DEPENDS galeon
depends mozilla &&
depends libgnomeui
Now with theedge only if I type lin -c -r galeon it will install go and
try to install gnome-libs for some reason even though its not in the
DEPENDS file. This doesnt happen if I switch to lunar and try to
compile.

dude...
this only happens when you use a CVS moonbase, as the entries in
depends.cache are outdated. Currently they are not scanned for changes
because the overhead would be too great. you can run
lsh->create_depends_cache to force recreation of the depends cache...
automating this would be cumbersome, I might have to turn off caching
completely alltogether for CVS moonbases.

Well on this box at work I dont use a cvs moonbase I use the moonbase that
is pulled off of the webpage. I have tried updating my moonbase "lin -c
moonbase" but the same thing happens no matter what. I will see what the
lsh command gives me and report back.
