Hello everyone!
Yesterday I commited a few important updates for /etc/pam.d files. These
changes should now make tools like userdel, usermod and groupdel to work
properly without giving you an error, this only apply if you have compiled
shadow module with Linux-PAM.
All pam-files in shadow are now using /etc/pam.d/system-auth as global
file, thus if you need to add your own specific pam_*.so files for
authorization you just need to edit system-auth and all other services
will take advantage of it.
To get these changes re-lin Linux-PAM and shadow, but be aware that
re-lining Linux-PAM will trigger a rebuild of all PAM aware modules you
have installed.
Another way is to manually copy these files from the moonbase to
/etc/pam.d.
The files can be found in /var/lib/lunar/moonbase/security/Linux-PAM/pam.d
and /var/lib/lunar/moonbase/security/shadow/pam.d
Same changes will be comming for openssh and other pam aware modules in a
near future. Please report any problems as usual.
Best wishes
Stefan Wold
