New module version daemon announcement

Changed to the new module, lin'ed with gcc3.2.3 and linux 2.6.2-rc1.  All went 
well.  I assume it is necessary to do the commands mentioned in the DETAILS 
file, namely:
	~# grub
	grub> root (hd0,0)
	grub> setup (hd0)
	grub> quit
to install the new version of grub to the MBR or some such, or will it work 
with out doing this?  I did them, the grub version at boot is reported as 
0.94.  If it's necessary to tell grub to install itself again, can this be 
automated, or at least have lin print a message to tell you before it exits?
