In addition to shorewall being very configurable as a firewall, it solved
another problem for me that I had with Lunar: you can add aliases to your NIC,
single IP's or range(s):

This way you can add and remove IP's to/from your NICs without having to
restart your server (since restarting the network looses the gateway).
So IMHO shorewall is a useful addition to lunar-as-is ;-)
Takes a lot of work off your hands without taking over control, like the
lunar-tools :-)
