Thunderbird 0.4

I didnt have to nuke anything with thunderbird as far as I could tell. 
It opened I fetched my mail and sent a test message all fine.  If there
is anything that has to be "nuked" in a users personal directory then
then user has to do that him/herself.  What exact problems occur if you
dont do this?  So far I have seen 0.
