gcc 3.3.2

Thanks for your help :)
Do I have to do anything additional to make sure gcc-3.3.2 libs and 
headers are used (like editing /etc/ld.so.conf)? Can I lrm gcc-3.2.3 
after installing gcc-3.3.2?
