Hi Marco,

Sorry for the silence, been a few busy days and I haven't had time until
now to dig into the issue. I was unfortunately able to reproduce your
problem, and it's indeed the initramfs. It's a problem with dracut and bash
4.4, I guess I was lucky the first time when testing a temporary patch for
dracut. Upstream have a fix ready, but they have yet to release a new
version.

As a workaround I just committed dracut-git as a temporary replacement for
dracut, install it then run (replace x's with your version of the kernel):
$ dracut -L 2 -f  /boot/initramfs-4.x.x-x86_64.img 4.x.x

Hopefully that should allow you to boot.
