<div dir="ltr">Hi Marco,<div><br></div><div>Sorry for the silence, been a few busy days and I haven't had time until now to dig into the issue. I was unfortunately able to reproduce your problem, and it's indeed the initramfs. It's a problem with dracut and bash 4.4, I guess I was lucky the first time when testing a temporary patch for dracut. Upstream have a fix ready, but they have yet to release a new version.</div><div><br></div><div>As a workaround I just committed dracut-git as a temporary replacement for dracut, install it then run (replace x's with your version of the kernel):</div><div>$ dracut -L 2 -f /boot/initramfs-4.x.x-x86_64.img 4.x.x<br><br>Hopefully that should allow you to boot.</div><div><br></div><div>Regards</div><div>Stefan<br><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr">On Thu, Dec 1, 2016 at 5:19 PM M.W. van der Grient <<a href="mailto:mwgrient69@gmail.com">mwgrient69@gmail.com</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_msg">Hey Stefan, thanks for the reply. <br class="gmail_msg"><br class="gmail_msg">About the kernel boot: it is searching for my ssd partitions for about 1m.30sec.
