IIRC the method for dealing with ide burners will change completely
under 2.6+. Jeff Garzik has completely rewritten how this class of
devices is handled for 2.6. I suggest you send an email to him directly
and get some clarification on this issue if you can not google the
information needed for a resolution. His email addy is jgarzik at redhat.com.
