kernel 2.6 && SCSI emulation

Hi ;)
Just a note to ask if anyone tried 2.6pre's. On my box scsi emulation is 
absolutely b0rked, it freezes my box. I have tried ripping, xmms, and 
mplayer, all with similar result: complete freeze. Anyone else, or just 
my problem ?
