K, thnx. Mmmmm, seems it *is* broken....
 From http://testing.lkml.org/slashdot.php?mid=317713 "ide-scsi is 
broken in 2.6-test, use ide-cd and get updated cdrtools." It has a link, 
but the SOAB doesn't work. grrrrr!
