Description: 
...so lvm users can mount their volumes and/or cryptusers can access their
data.
you need to enable CONFIG_BLK_DEV_DM and CONFIG_DM_CRYPT for the kernel
(Device Drivers > Multi-device support (RAID and LVM))

Without an initrd-creating code I can't make this work on the ISO

Ratler has confirmed that the latest 1.6.5 ISO (for both i686 and x86_64)
contains kernels configured with CONFIG_BLK_DEV_DM and CONFIG_DM_CRYPT,
but it isn't possible to support cryptsetup without an initrd option,
which doesn't yet exist, and there are no current plans to implement it.

Unless there is additional feedback, this report will be closed within
the next two weeks.
