Summary: lard fails in lunar rebuild because pod2man not in
path
Description:
This bose11 box is a test box that will get wiped anyway, so after the
basic install of 1.6.1 ISO, lin XOrg7, xterm, xfce, firefox (and other
sundries) I thought I would run 'lunar rebuild' just for the hell of it.
lard fails to rebuild because it can't find pod2man.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Installing perl on a fresh 1.6.1 lunar box results in installing pod2man in
/usr/share/bin ...
This is something i'd assign to the Perl module instead.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a ISO problem, then a lard problem and finally a perl problem
because sofar is compiling in a shell. perl when compiled on all of the
lunar boxes I use, installs pod2man in /usr/bin. This is clearly a problem
sofar needs to fix. Don't assign random bugs to me. This practice on the
bug tracker simply MUST stop. Lunar devs can choose to have a bug assigned
to THEMSELVES. NOT the other way around.

sofar - 02-26-07 16:39
----------------------------------------------------------------------
this is a remnant from a broken perl install on my system. unfortunately
this may be in older 1.6.1rc releases as well.
A recompile of perl and perl modules will fix.

Of course, on future ISO's I'll make sure this doesn't happen.
