Summary:                    xdm hangs
Description: 
I've managed to get XOrg7 installed, following the instructions in the
wiki, and everything seemed to install ok. :)
However when using xdm on startup the login window freezes and continually
says "login incorrect". It's as if I were holding down the enter key
without entering a username/password.

Looks like it might be:

Lots of the above - where do I go from here?
