I may have mentioned before the build places a couple of files in
/usr/etc/hotplug and /usr/lib/hotplug when both of these should be in
/etc/hotplug/usb.

I added 

--with-hotplug-script-dir=/etc/hotplug/usb
--with-hotplug-usermap-dir=/etc/hotplug/usb

to the BUILD which corrects this.

I also added ffmpeg as a dependency and bumped the version of kino to
0.7.5. Which compiles and runs fine on gcc-3.3.3, 2.6.12-rc3.
