heh:
reading closely it looks like /usr/X11R6/lib is missing from his
/etc/ld.so.conf, or ldconfig isn't run yet. The POST_INSTALL of
XOrg-test looks okay.
dennis: can you double check if this is indeed the problem? the current
XOrg-test/POST_INSTALL is correct in this behaviour!

On a fresh system install after doing all the preliminaries. I choose to
install XOrg-test (the standard XOrg module has not been installed at
this time), that goes well. Logout/login, check "env" that X has been
added to PATH, it has. Try to run "xorgcfg" or xorgconfig and it errors
out with not being able to find "libxkbui.so. Check /usr/X11R6/lib and
it's there.
Vim will not install, cannot find libxp.so.6, check that it is present
on the system, it is.
Pango will not install, cannot find libxft, again check for it's
presence on the system, it is.
I then lin XOrg, completes fine and all the above items now function or
install correctly.

So .. what exactly is your problem? XOrg-test is in zbeta for a good
reason. Unless you really know what you're doing _don't use it_.
