On a fresh install of theedge on a 1.5.0 iso install

I performed a lin kde3

Each time through the depends tree I was asked which X server I wanted
and if I wanted to choose video cards.

during selection and configuration the aliases are not remembered
automatically, they are asked continually during a single lin.

the aliases code should check to see if the alias was chosen, not
necessarily only if its installed.

        select
    else
        add to depends queue

This is exactly what the code currently does and how it is implemented.
I'll need to see exactly which case we're talking about (reproduced) to
verify, so please provide this.
