Hi,
Thank you for your answer.
No changes when I delete the cache and config dirs.
To be more verbose when starting spotify I used a program called "gdb"
for the first time.

@tulp ~ $ gdb spotify
GNU gdb (GDB) 7.8.1
Copyright (C) 2014 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
License GPLv3+: GNU GPL version 3 or later
<http://gnu.org/licenses/gpl.html>
[bla bla].

(gdb) run
Starting program: /usr/bin/spotify
warning: Could not load shared library symbols for linux-vdso.so.1.
Do you need "set solib-search-path" or "set sysroot"?
/usr/bin/spotify: /usr/lib/libssl.so.1.0.0: no version information
available (required by /usr/bin/spotify)
/usr/bin/spotify: /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.1.0.0: no version information
available (required by /usr/bin/spotify)
[Thread debugging using libthread_db enabled]
Using host libthread_db library "/lib/libthread_db.so.1".
20:10:37.613 I [breakpad.cpp:107                ] Registered Breakpad
for product: spotify

20:10:37.614 I [translate.cpp:139               ] Reloading language file
[Inferior 1 (process 27175) exited normally]
(gdb)

I doubt the usefulness of it. Some one has a better idea for debugging
spotify?
Regards,
Marco
