I am in the process of building an AMD athlon64 bit Lunar system. So far I
have had good success. I got all the stuff in "lfirsttime" and Xorg7
(including ati-driver) installed. Then I tried to install ATI's fglrx module
and got a failure in the "libstdc++5" install with the following message:

/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/../lib/libc.so when searching
for -lc
/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/../lib/libc.a when searching

Anybody ran into this? I would appreciate any and all advice on building a 64
bit system. I could not find much on the Lunar website(maybe I missed it).

I went ahead and installed ati-driver and kde3. I happened to have an old
X700 ATI card that ati-driver supports. My main card is a X1300 PRO that
module fglrx supports if I can get it to install

I am fairly new to Lunar Linux tho I have been using Lunar 32 bit for some
months.
