This version was for testing purposes only. People told me what is wrong with 
it (thanks all!) and I'm working on new one. Please wait for new version - it 
is almost done. Only old firmware loader was dropped (the one using 
deprecated hotplug scripts). Instead the new one is used now.
The new firmware loader is working - I use it to load firmware on my Thomson 
Speedtouch 330 USB ADSL modem several times per day.
