i just opened ./etc/lunar/local/host.def and cleared the whole thing,
then did "lin -cr XOrg-test" and choose no to "reconfigure host.def".
it worked beautifully... here's a screenshot of it:

i got the tip from crypticreign in IRC. there are at least 3 of use
loonies (sorry, that was a bad pun :P ) using XOrg-test sucessfully.
the eye candy is pretty buggy. it's stable, but slow and buggy.
without using the eye candy, R6.8 is fast, stable, and feels more
responsive.
