coreutils problem

The edge is the unstable and bug fix level of lunar,  there are bug 
fixes in theedge that may not be in lunar.  so the suggestion to 
switching over to theedge and it fixing your problem isn't far fetched. 
  as for the coreutils bug what does config.log say for coreutils  the 
issue with it getting stuck in a loop of pathmax  that seems to be a 
bug in the configure script in the coreutils package, not a problem of 
lunar nor theedge.

i have a feeling that bkw was thinking of the depends loops that were 
showing up in theedge earlier.

as this isn't the case and no matter what version of lunar you are 
running there is some other underlying issue.

so drop us the sniplet f the failure in the coreutils config.log file, 
note this is from the source not lunar

cp /usr/src/coreutils..../config.log ~/thisEmailReply
