Just out of curiosity, how come --disable-alsa doesn't help?

for gst-plugins you can try to define usage of the old alsa-api. 
Probably you'll need to edit gstalsa.c to include:

#define ALSA_PCM_OLD_HW_PARAMS_API
#define ALSA_PCM_OLD_SW_PARAMS_API
#include <alsa/asoundlib.h>

I haven't tested this, so I can't say if it works or not.
