It's an extremely well filled update this week so make sure you check the list of updates. There's a few important ones in that list this week as well. You'll enjoy the new thunderbird possibly or perhaps eclipse-3.0, sylpheed bump etc. You might also want to check out the new modules Zope, ipvsadm and some others!
More importantly we're adressing some consistency problems in moonbase and hope to clean out some URL problems a bit more. You can help out by making sure that when you report broken downloads that you check that your SFORGE_URL is set properly. Notably the telia mirror is not being updated often enough and will give you 404's on many modules. Please switch to UNC or one of the others. You can do this by running 'lunar' and going to the download options and mirror settings for 'SFORGE'.
Behind the scenes we're testing gcc-3.4.1. Unfortunately none of the current 2.4 kernels compile okay with this, and it also requires you to get a glibc from CVS. This makes this update (or even gcc-3.4.0) at the moment really out of scope for most people. As allways, only time will tell when we can consider this fixed and that we're able to push out gcc-3.4.x as the default gcc version. Up to then it will be exclusively the terrain of our 2.6-testing code.
