Sorry to answer twice, but I'm half asleep :\ I missed to answer you before:

If you read through what I wrote on the 2.6 kernel, you should notice that is
how to pass from a 2.4 install to a 2.6 based install, recompiling all base
stuff (the list supplied in the howto). The iso is not this case because it
has already been compiled against 2.6 headers, so that step is unneeded.
Just do a lunar renew or rebuild, like man lfirsttime says. That'll be fine.
