Problem compiling xfree86

Hello everybody

I recently installed Lunar Linux (1.3) and I must say that I really
like the speed and control it gives me (although I got a little bit
bored waiting for it to compile everything!).
I had some minor problems though, so I seek help from this list:
When compiling xfree86 at the end of the compile I got the message:

As stated in the instructions I had disabled DRM support in the kernel
and enabled it in the host.def. So what's happening?

And some other questions:
- Is there an easy way to pass arguments to the configure script when 
installing a program?
- How big should be the partition where lunar is installed? How much
free space should it have? This is supposed to be a lean and mean
distro. I have it on a ~2GB partition and I almost run out of space when 
compiling glibc and xfree86. I'm afraid to try gnome2, I think the space 
will not be enough.
- I have chosen to include support for "combreloc". Did anyone have
problems with it?

And finally some requests:
- quickswitch: the best program for network profiles for laptops.
(I'll try to make the script for that myself, it seems easy)
- openmosix: what is faster than a PC running lunar? More PCs running lunar!
