GTK+ fails to build, midnight commander problems...

I've just done a "lin mc" on a P3-850 with these options set and "mc"
compiles with absolutely no problems.

-O2 -mcpu=pentium3 -march=pentium3 -fomit-frame-pointer -mmmx -msse -mfpmath=sse,387 -Wall
