Why are you doing this?

The gnome repository is supposed to be closed and removed once
all necessary things are available in gnome3 or moved to -other
(in case older applications rely on them).

libnotify is one of the candidates to keep in -other
for xfce, midori, springlobby and possibly others.

Moving a module to -gnome should be the same as
removing it entirely, so please keep libnotify in -other.
