so, I fixed this up earlier today, and this makes mesa-lib happy again 
and installs OK, and works for me.

If you have a nouveau setup, I noticed that it can't find some include 
files and needs to be passed some extra CFLAGS=-I/usr/include... 
settings, let me know if you run into this.
