It's not needed as long as you choose to install XOrg7 in /usr (which
is the default). When Moe and me started making the XOrg7 modules we
made sure you could install XOrg7 in /opt or /usr/X11R7 ... and then
that BUILD file is certainly needed!

So you are removing features that used to work perfectly fine. But of
course with all the changes you have done already you probably broke
it a long time ago.
