xorg 1.11 why we do not use it?

because when xorg 1.11 came out, nvidia wasn't ready. And i'm
absolutely *NOT* interested in nvidia. So I don't know when NVIDIA
finally decided to start supporting 1.11. I have been running 1.11.2
since it was out. I just don't push it to moonbase.
