Removing dead? modules versus old source archive

I've been slowly working through Bug Report 247 to either update the
module completely, or just the source URL, or to remove it because
nobody will have been able to download it in the past two years anyway.

My searching of the web for roadrunner-0.9.1.tar.gz has suddenly thrown
up http://ftp.eu.openbsd.org/pub/lunar/source-archive/

and this seems to contain tarballs for some of the modules that I
have already removed (e.g. Addresses, GNUMail, Pantomime) but not
all (e.g. ww)

My question is: should we patch old modules to use sites like this,
or debian or gentoo mirrors, or just zap the modules regardless?

I've patched roadrunner for the moment, but it seems to me that it is
really dead, and by extension, so is sdscsyslogd which depends on it.

Cheers
