udev 103 - works well.

this type of update also needs testing on a fresh install. Perhaps the new 1.6.1rc1 ISO 
could be used: it already spotted the dreaded corutils update bug the other day too. If 
anyone wants to have a crack at it, I suggest using qemu ;)
