Please leave wxGTK alone if you don't know what you are doing. The reason that wxGTK uses the wxPython source tarball is two-fold. 1. It saves downloading the same code twice as wxPython tarball contains ALL of wxGTK. 2. wxPython needs to be built with the included wxGTK that is part of its tarball. Terry Chan
