Hi Dennis,

1. you have to edit the patch file a bit in order to be appliable from the 
moonbase. Look at some patches from the moonbase to see what's the needed 
format. In the final it's better to compress the patch file with bzip2

2. the patch file have to be transferred (with scp, for example) to your thome 
dir from expresso. then ssh to expresso and move the patch 
to /var/ftp/pub/lunar/patches dir.

2.  the patch file must be specified in the DETAILS file and the BUILD file 
must contain a line to patch it. See some example modules in the moonbase.

3. test the patch download and the module compile and run. Keep in mind that 
the patch file can be downloaded from expresso later after you put it there 
(sometimes it can take a half of hour or more).

4. if everything it's OK you can commit the module to the moonbase.
