wxGTK-2.6.1.0 problems with UNICODE enabled

Please note that with --enable-unicode in the ./configure step of wxGTK, this
will break bochs and xmule.

See this bug report for xmule:

http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1103331&group_id=81622&atid=563534

bochs generates a very similar error when using wxGTK (compiled with UNICODE enabled).

This bug appeared in the 2.5.x series of wxWindows but the devs do not consider
it a problem with wxGTK, rather the unicode handling has changed and apps need
to rewrite their use of wx code. So xmule and bochs are broken.

rapidsvn, jaffm, wxPython all work with wxGTK (unicode enabled).

I haven't tested audacity to see if the new wxGTK/wxPython will work when UNICODE
is enabled.

In the meantime either compile wxGTK without UNICODE support (not a good idea
according to the wx devs) or don't use bochs and/or xmule.
