2.6 Kernel with inotify patch

He didn't get udev to work? I think he didn't manage to do 
so, and I can't remember why, either. I bet it was something 
stupid we both missed... IAC, I have (with florin's help) a 
module that makes udev work OOTB. But without the inclusion 
of the udev support at boottime it is useless - yes, I know 
udev has an initscript, but that is useless for booting 
purposes, and in fact is removed in the OOTB version. I have 
created a first set of initscripts, and I can boot a 
modified iso with them. I am currently working on a second 
set (I'm trying another approach). I hope they will be 
approved, and not lost in space like my mount script...

Inode / instead of directory notification, if I'm correct? I 
wonder why a X environment has to be so kernel dependant... 
I am not by any means complaining about your work, that I 
know is well done, pal! ;)

I won't be writting anything untill with something working 
OOTB (but I do promise to write it). Meanwhile, my 2.6 howto 
will suffice.
