[Fwd: Quest to get KDE working... again]

can we please get out a message to lunar@ ASAP now that gives a proper 
way of fixing this and the cause? (preferably also a FAQ entry on the 
website?).

I don't mean to be rude but I signalled the need for this last week and 
nothing was sent as far as I can see. it's kind of shameful that Hendrik 
has to be the one to go through the trouble of bothering us again, he 
must be getting sick of it.

what I HAD PROPOSED to send out was never reacted to:

Okay, there is no `/usr/X11R6/lib/libfontconfig.la' on my system.
How do I create/generate it?? lin fontconfig didn't :(
