mwah, this script was written in less than an hour... If someone wants 
to have a go at it, it's in ~sofar/weeklies.

e-mail, to me. There's a file 'notes' in the same directory that gets 
inserted once a week, then archived. This way we don't have to write 
something, but we can and at any time we want. just drop me an e-mail 
I'd say, I'll be happy maintaining it.

should we post this to the main website as well? just an idea...
