udev support

Hi everyone,
I have attached a (now bzipped) version of the mount script.
Now the dev nodes are created *before* you get to the fs
check, because in order to do so, you need the root's device
node to be there. No need to wait to rw remount, because
/proc and /sys -that are mounted prior to creating the
nodes-, are virtual fs. This brings up a problem (a
question, really): what happens if you have to pass the fsck
on / ? Should sysfs and proc be unmounted first? My first
idea was if you have to pass the fsck, let the script call
itself ("mount stop"), because it doesn't unmount /dev anyway.
There is something that continues to bother me, and I forgot
to mention last night (sorry!). When the box boots and the
udevstart script populates /dev it returns a non-zero
status, so you see an error msg. I have double checked and
it seems the nodes are perfectly created, though I am still
trying to track down the problem. I must be missing
something... For the moment, and unless stated otherwise,
please ignore the error msg.
Thanks for listening,
nestu ;)))
