gdm sessions problems

Ok well that fixes the gnome problem also.  So how can we fix this?  Put
something once the module compiles asking the user to add said path to
his/her /etc/profile file?  I dont see how we could do it any other
way.  If anyone has any sugesstions I will gladly take them
