gdm sessions problems

Terry, Nick:

Putting /opt/lunar/xfce/4.0/bin in /etc/profile worked for xfce, thanks
for the tip Terry!

But even after putting /opt/lunar/gnome/2.4/bin in /etc/profile, gnome
still has mucho problems:

- I still get gnome settings daemon errors

- The Gnome startup screen, with the lunar logo, freezes at the 2nd or
3rd stage

- IceWM starts up !?!?!?
