No the header file is in the correct location... Xft1 doesnt use a
header file in /usr/X11R6/include/X11/Xft .... the Xft2 header files are
in that location.  I had to put them there so that it will be picked up
correectly by gtk2 apps and gnome2 apps.  Anyway this will all be fixed
when and whereever xfree 4.3.0 comes out.  Right now I have 2 boxes
running perfectly off xfree-cvs with no xft problems yet.  

To get back to the main part of this.... I dont think its the header
files at all.  Since Xft1 doesnt use those header files I dont see how
that could be it.  That directory and those headerfiles are created when
you install Xft from moonbase.  Like I said we wont have any more
confusion when Xfree86 4.3.0 comes out but when that will be as of
yesterday it looks like a few more weeks.  The developers keep saying
"when we fix all the major bugs"  which translates to me as, its no
where near finished.
