Summary: Compiling glibc fails if program execution is
prevented in /tmp
Description:
This applies to any system with a kernel security patch that disallows
execution in /tmp, or any system that has /tmp on an actual partition
mounted with the NOEXEC option.
A test script (scripts/test-installation.pl) included in the glibc package
uses /tmp for executing various test programs.
For security's sake, this should be done in a subdirectory of the source
directory.
