Summary: poppler-0.6.2 fails to build
Description:
I have both qt3 and qt4 installed, but poppler-0.6.2 fails to find qt4
checking for Qt headers... /opt/lunar/qt/3/include
checking for Qt libraries... /opt/lunar/qt/3/lib
checking if Qt needs -pthread... no
checking for POPPLER_QT4... configure: error: Package requirements (QtCore
>= 4.1.0 QtGui >= 4.1.0 QtXml >= 4.1.0 QtTest >= 4.1.0) were not met:
No package 'QtCore' found
No package 'QtGui' found
No package 'QtXml' found
No package 'QtTest' found
Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.
Alternatively, you may set the environment variables POPPLER_QT4_CFLAGS
and POPPLER_QT4_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.
See the pkg-config man page for more details.

OK, if I follow the advice at the end of the installation attempt and run
PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/opt/lunar/qt/4/lib/pkgconfig:$PKG_CONFIG_PATH lin -rc
poppler
then it configures, compiles and installs without obvious problem, but
there should really be some mechanism within the module to do select the
right version automatically.
