Summary:                    lat2-sun16.psf.gz console font - please bring it
back
Description: 
Please bring back lat2-sun16.psf.gz console font in future iso. This is the
only console font for Poland which allows to display local characters *and*
semi graphics (like frames and borders in text mode e.g. in mc). iso02 is
not a solution.

IMHO: Instead of several menus (keyboard + font + language) the more
comfortable would be one with language profiles (above things preselected
and in one place).

Are you using 1.6.1? Because if you do please check wether your font is set
at all. 1.6.1 has a bug in the 'bootmisc' script that prevents it from
setting any font choice. I'm pretty sure the font you're requesting is
still there.

lat2-sun16.psf.gz does not exist. There is no such file installed by kbd
module.
I found lat2-16 replacement. Hope will get used to its different outlook.

lat2-sun16.psf.gz is installed with console-* modules which are in
conflict with kbd.

Maybe moving over the font file from an old installation will work? As I
understand it lat2-sun16.psf.gz is not unicode compatible (which is
probably why it has been dropped). I encourage you to try lat2-16 or
lat2a-16 as a replacement .. or move over the old font ..
