Summary: USB keyboard ignored at installation time
Description:
The Lunar installation system kernel seems to refuse detecting my USB
keyboard, so that the setup routine can't be controlled nor even started.
Every Lunar ISO release I tried (1.6.0 at i686, 1.6.1-rc1 at i686,
1.6.1-rc2 at x86_64) shows this fault, despite the kernel is said to support
USB keyboards.
The same effect occurred after fetching a Lunar hdd image from another pc,
so the installed standard kernel image has the same problems with USB
keyboards as mine.
With every other distro there aren't any similar issues.

boot the kernel by typing 'linux uhci-hcd' or 'linux ohci-hcd'.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
 ertua - 02-09-07 00:43
----------------------------------------------------------------------
no visible effect achieved

----------------------------------------------------------------------
 sofar - 02-17-07 21:09

won't fix. I've had multiple users using the boot method with success.

Have you really tried to load your hcd driver?

have you tried `linux uhci-hcd ehci-hcd ohci-hcd' ?
