bochs-2.1.1 and bochs-2.2 both fail to compile correctly whenever wxGTK
is installed. Perhaps the version number of wxGTK is too high and
unsupported in bochs. I had to "lrm wxGTK && lin bochs && lin -R wxGTK"
to get bochs to work at all. The bochs configure code still uses
wx-config even if --without-wx is passed as a ./configure parameter,
and wxGTK is installed. I do have SDL installed, which bochs also
detects in its ./configure code and it will use SDL when I've lrm'd
wxGTK.

So basically if you need/use bochs, then temporarily "lrm wxGTK" and
then you may safely compile bochs.
