This bug tracking system is not perfect yet... please make note of
problems you see and report them back.

I added support to display the 'component' in the overview display.

Would it be possible to incorporate a unique "Issue Number" to go along
with each posted issue? It sure would be nice to be able to reference
a unique number (ie #1457) in a changelog instead of resorting to some
combination of poster + title + date.

This then natually would have to become a field you could sort/search
by when viewing current/closed issues via the web interface.

the issue number can be read in the URL bar, perhaps I can hack it into
the summary display.

you can read the ID now in the html summary page, don't know if it shows
up correctly in the mail report yet.

Thank you sofar for jumping in on this. I saw those numbers in the uri
field on my browser, but I didn't know if those were "safe" numbers to
use or if from time to time they got clobbered and dnyamically
reassigned for one reason or another.

Not to be hasty here but I wanted to clarify some extra ideas and offer
some additional suggestions. You may have already planned on
implementing something like what I am gunna say below so don't think
I'm trying to get immediate gratification, I'm just documenting
thoughts :)

It still would be helpful to be able to search for that number and be
able to see it in the main issue list
(http://lunar-linux.org/?q=project/issues) and not just in the deatils
of an issue. Seeing it just in the issue details doesn't really help
anyone if they are reading a ChangeLog entry and they want to go back
to the issue it was referring to by ID. They still have to open random
issues until the find the proper one with that matching ID. A
suggestion would be having the "Advanced Search" have a second method
of search and that would be something like "Jump to issue number:
[INPUT BOX WHERE ISSUE NUMBER IS ENTERED] [SUBMIT BUTTON]".
