I'll take this on. I don't know if I have proper website permissions.
I don't see anything different than what I had before becoming a
lunar-dev so I assume I do not.

The Table of Contents links on the "hardware compatibility guide [1]"
page do not take you down to the topic, but rather back to the main
page. I believe it is the same way for the networking howto.

same behavior on these pages (within the Library)
- Installing lunar on kernel 2.6
- Lunar OpenMosix clustering
- Networking HowTo Part 1
- Contributor HowTo

You have to be logged into the lunar-linux web page to view those pages.
Once you are logged in the links work just fine. sofar may have done
this by design. Its not really a bug.

Reopened after talking with tchan, he had what I said confused for
something else. I will try to describe this a little better for anyone
else you may need clarification, though chances are sofar will be the
ones that knows how to fix this the best. Okay, here it goes...

In the library section there are many links to articles in the HOWTOs
section. Some of these articles, when opened, have their own internal
"Table of Contents" (not talking about the "Content" menu under the
lunar logo). The entries in them are designed to, when clicked on,
take you down the same page to the section referenced. A majority of
those HOWTOs (see previously posted followups) have said TOC links
broken. They take you back to the main page (that is
http://www.lunar-linux.org). The links are
"http://lunar-linux.org/#id2479658" instead of what they should be
"http://lunar-linux.org/?q=node/view/26#id2479658". (This example was
taken from the "list of supported hardware" page). This is probably
something that just got messed up when the page was taken from the old
website in imported into the new site.

Not really a major issue (obvisouly), just unexpected behavior for
people coming to the article for the first time and expecting the links
to do what they are advertised to do.

Update: I had listed on 08/02/2004 that the 'Installing lunar on kernel
2.6' was one of the broken pages, it has since been fixed.

Sorry for the uber long post. Just wanted to be clear.

* we need a volunteer to repack these pages' html code and fix the
links. it's not hard but requires someone to do some typing/checking.
anyone who wants to do this dirty little task check their website
rights and ask me for permission in case you don't have enough rights.
